Per Saturday down south, AU's projected to play Wisconsin.

Not confident in our defense being able to stop the run.

Though if Muschamp gets hired soon maybe he could put something together.

I'm so sick of playing the same teams every year in bowl games

Unless we make it to a BCS (now playoff) game, it seems we either play Wisconsin or Clemson

Music City: Georgia vs Maryland
TaxSlayer: LSU vs Boston College
Belk: Florida vs Notre Dame
Liberty: Tennessee vs Texas

Any one of these opponents would be preferable. I'd love to see us hook up with the Irish or the Horns.

Frankly, I don't think we deserve the Outback. Hope the organizers feel the same way.

As long as we don't play Clemson.

I had a really bad taste in my mouth yesterday and really didn't care about AU bowling. Then I read something on College and Magnolia and after looking at the performance Nick, Duke, and Sammie put in the IB as well as others, every AU fan should support this team with everything they have. I really think that is what is most upsetting about losing the IB. I don't think you could have asked for anymore out of those three.

It may not matter. The more SEC teams get into the big 6 bowls the more the rest move up the ladder. 2 are locked in big 6 bowls in Bama and Miss St. Ole Miss should get in when the dust settles next week. If Mizzou upsets Bama they would be locked in also. If 3 SEC teams make big 6 bowls then we are a virtual lock for the Outback or Gator bowls.

I think Wisconsin will beat Ohio State, so I don't see that happening. I'd love for Auburn to play my Minnesota Gophers. I just might have to go to the game if that happens.

I'd love the Gator Bowl. It'd take me 45 minutes to get there.

CBS has us playing Louisville in the Music City Bowl.

LINK

Sporting News says Minnesota in the Taxslayer bowl (that is Gator, right?, damn I hate corp bowl names).

I'm not so sold beating Louisville is a sure thing. Petrino and Dyer would have more fuel to play in that game than Auburn. And Devante Parker would do something similar to Cooper and Treadwell.

And Minnesota could be that type of team like Northwestern in 09.

Ya just never know

I wouldn't mind playing Clemson in the bowl game. Deshaun Watson tore his ACL, so Auburn would almost definitely win and get to beat Dabo Swinney in the process.

Please no more Clemson --- don't we have enough of that in the future to look forward to?

Louisville could be last game of this season and first of next?

Can Lawson play in the bowl game or does it count towards this season?

Does it matter if it counts? Do you really think Lawson is staying beyond next year?

I love how a guy with 4 career sacks and coming off a torn ACL is a sure fire thing to leave early for the NFL.

Also, all of those matchups couldn't be anymore blah.
