I am not good with if we lose Malik. Malik is my week. Heck the "Malik National Championship" has replaced the season in my mind. He might be the most important recruit in A&M history.

I have faith Sumlin won't do anything to jeopardize that possible commitment.

Durkin is a better linebackers coach than Hagan

having anything CO means you don't have any.

I wouldnt be happy with a CO DC. NOSIR.

Cluster-frick seems more appropriate.

No one knows if they're getting co-DC titles. It sounded like Durkin would be the DC and call plays. Mattison might be a co-DC in terms of game planning, scheming, etc., but Durkin would call the plays. Mattison would also coach DTs with Price shifting to DEs. Durkin would have the LBs.

Honestly, this sounds like a pretty incredible combination. You get Mattison's years of experience and Durkin's youth and energy. Plus, having them as position coaches can only be a good thing.

Yeah I think I would be OK with it too if that is the route we decide to go

So between Anderson and Hagan, who gets the boot?

Would assume Hagen, but B.J. is equally (if not more so) deserving of the boot.

That's the concern, but I'm sure Sumlin can sell anything.

It's starting to become questionable.

With this DC search, he is definitely doing some very Ketch-like stuff.

But chin pubes still has a long way to go to become just as bad as Ketch.

As soon as there's a Nostraloochus, I'll say Liucci is as bad as Ketch

Looch is not a liar or a sunshine pumper like fat ketch. Looch doesn't take shots at kids and never comments on crimes committed by kids at other schools where victims exist.

Looch may be immature when dealing with asshats on Texags at times but he is not anything like that lying, stealing, kids trashing, Aggie hating loser ketch

Refusing to let Hagen go could be why the DC search has come to a standstill. But Sumlin knows he has to have at least Hagen to retain Malik. Lose the coach, or lose the recruit... Sumlin is probably trying to extend this out long as he can.

But I do agree that if he had to give a coach the boot it's BJ Anderson. But this isn't high school where coaching staffs can easily be interchangeable to coach different departments on a team. Once you get to the college ranks, coaches are more like specialists, not coaches. I just hope Sumlin can figure this out because he's got 48 hours apparently. It's a complete rolling of the dice in a weird way. Either way could be good or bad.

The recent Kirk announcement really does help us a lot. Gives us another huge momentum swing for Malik to ride and commit to us no matter what Sumlin does.

What's the point of holding good recruiters if they can't coach worth a damn? Anderson needs to go!
