He had a bad game. It happens. He is still a good CB who has a bright future.

It looked like John Fulton against A&M. His run support is better than his coverage but he'll no doubt bounce back.

He'll bounce back, he hasn't been 100% all year and he has played at a high level. Rivalry games are hardly indicators of anything, one bad game won't mean anything. He'll lockdown Mizzou's WRs.

Bad game but any DB would've struggled when a QB is back there scrambling around

Eddie will be a good one, just getting started due to injuries.

One only needs to look at guys like Kareem Jackson and Marquis Johnson on how players improve with experience at that position

Coates and Duke Williams running right by him has nothing to do with Nick Marshall scrambling.

ETA: next week doesn't get much easier with Sasser and Hunt for Mizzou. The secondary will have their hands full once again.

These two are not on the same level as Coates and Williams.

I never said that they were on the same level. However, they are big and can stretch the field, which is a WR mold our CBs have struggled with for a while now.

At least they tackled them a few times after the long completions. Led to field goals instead of touchdowns.

The results might have been the same, but it "looked" nothing like Fulton.

Am I the only one who isn't worried about the points and yardage from Saturday? Alabama won't play another team who runs the ball like Auburn while simultaneously launching bombs left and right to monster receivers with absolutely nothing to lose.

Are you sure? I don't pay attention to Pac-12 football, but doesn't Oregon run a similar system? Just asking.

not addressed to you but it surprised me that 3 came in for Eddie instead of Brown who has speed to burn. not sure why we were not giving safety help on their big guns unless we had to keep the safeties in the box to support their run

Sylve is one of the fastest guys on the team as well. I would imagine its Brown at 1, and Sylve at 2.

Actually Sylve is probably a touch faster. I know TB is a stand-out hurdler but Sylve had quite the resume as a sprinter. Unfortunately he battled injuries as a junior and senior in high school

The Auburn game makes me fearful of Oregon. Mariota is a stud. Hopefully Saban has them ready.

They have a very explosive offense, I just don't think they'll be launching bombs like Auburn was. And they won't have 2 amazons running down the field at the same time.

Oregon is usually pretty soft and easy to disrupt, but I do think they would give Alabama fits. Just not how Auburn did.

We won't play Oregon first.
