For the past week or so I've been experiencing random periods where I will feel fine then all of a sudden just crash...like get so exhausted I can't stay awake, then at other times I can be relaxed and my heart will just start racing so fast I can feel it jumping in my chest and my body will shake especially my hands.

WTF is this shite?

Lay off that whiskey, and let that cocaine be.

No. Mostly just sweet tea or water/gatorade

I don't much fast food or processed foods, mostly home style southern cooking or upscale restaurants...but it's still not exactly healthy. Steak, fried pork chops and gravy, fried or baked chicken, fried catfish, bbq ribs or pulled pork, etc.

I drink about 3 nights a week, usually whiskey, and smoke cigs only when I drink. Maybe smoke a pack a week

Sounds like your sugar is bottoming out. Ever had any problems related to blood sugar before?

Chronic lethargy and heart palpatations? I'm glad you stopped by, these are very serious symptoms and I've seen these several times before in patients from your area of the country.

It's a simple case of Chagas disease caused by the bite of the Triatominae or the kissing bug. It probably bit you while you were sleeping.

Your symptoms right now are typical of the early stages of the disease but it will only get worse as it grows into its chronic stages. It could potentially seriously damage your heart, digestive system and brain.

I would advise that you immediately go see your health care provider and ask for a course of Benznidazole or Nifurtimox. That should clear it up.

Best of luck to you.

No and my family has no history of diabetes or heart disease.

My heart is racing right now and my face feels like I have fever but I'm not feeling sick. I have energy and am wide awake but can feel heat pouring off my body like I have fever.

My blood pressure was high a few weeks ago last time I visited a dr..like 145/110

I've been under tremendous stress lately due to some business related things. And I do occasionally do coke when I party hard but not very often

Probably should've mentioned that earlier. This affects my diagnosis.

You have boogersugaritis, a severe reaction to the stimulant you've been abusing. To counteract its effects I suggest you try out a high-grade recreational opiate such as heroin.

That or you could've caught Jungle fever. You didn't watch Nicki Minaj's Anaconda video did you?

You need cardio. Bout to get old.. Start running now and you'll feel better as 33 yr old than a 23 yr old like this fossil.

Stop smoking and get to where you run 3 miles at least 3 times a wk minimum and you'll notice lots of changes. No diet changes needed yet.

If you think it is serious enough (you know what is normal for your body better than anyone) definitely get someone to check your blood pressure when that happens. Any urgent care will do it. High blood pressure can cause all sorts of problems from having strokes to heart attacks. It puts strain on every blood vessel in your body.

What's bad is I'm only 23 yrs old and was playing college football only 3 years ago

frick. I hate running..I lifted weights twice a day and ran every day from 8th grade through first 2 years of college because I was dedicated to playing football.

I've grown to despise it now

Minor heart explosions.

Nbd you'll be dead in 3 years tops.

Should've taken better care of yourself.

You need a prescription of Xanax.Give up the Coke.Give up the Cigs.

Get your blood pressure under control. When your heart starts racing or you're shaking take a Xanax.

You're welcome.
