Hell yeah. I'm not anywhere close to being a Star Wars nerd, but I love these movies. So epic and entertaining.

Throwing stars would be more practical, but a lightsaber boomerang is too badass for JJ to not put in the movie.

Just say they are using the force, traditional plot hole filler. Put like a spinning handle in the middle, so it can rotate fast enough into a shield.

Honestly thought it was a joke trailer when cam newton in a storm trooper outfit popped up at beginning followed by a stupid looking rolley polley r2d2. What the frick was that? I thought the light saber looked cool yet is ultimately ridiculous since laser like flames are rather pointless from the sides. The idea of a Jedi fight in the woods is pretty bad arse though.
