Jamal is better for stopping the big play, Landon is better at making the big play. Thats what it comes down to.

However, since Jamal is still a freshman, I think he will make a lot of big plays of his own before he hands up the Tiger helmet.

Adams, like Fournette, seems to be up in everybody's dome right now. They are already dominate players. Next year they are both huge difference makers on both sides of the ball.

This is why we can't have nice things. Adams isn't on Collins level today. Adams hasn't shown enough to say matter of factly that he ever will be. Landon Collins is an All American and Thorpe finalist. Landon Collins will be a first round draft pick, potentially top 10. Lsu fans never cease to amaze me.

You gotta give the edge to the experienced guy. IMHO, Collins is a better ball hawk and comes up big in crucial moments. Adams plays physically HUGE though, like a linebacker but with crazy speed. Adams is a better tackler TODAY than Collins. Adams will be one of the best to ever play at LSU when it's all said and done. He's been consistently great and smart on the field, better than I expected. But Adams is just getting started, Collins has a body of work.

This needs to be revisited in the future. At the moment the choice is obvious but Adams has what it takes to be a star.Your brethren isn't any better when it comes to this type of shite.

Collins often takes bad angles and gives up the big play at times...que the OU game as exhibit A.

Adams is starting on the best secondary in the SEC. Collins only got to start last year due to injury, and I have to think it was because Saban knew he would give up the big play on occasion.

Not arguing that Adams is better, but Collins didn't even really play his freshman year, so we can't say he would have been any better. Adams hasn't even been in a college S&C program for a year yet.

Bama fans never cease to amaze me.

Lol what is with LSU fans claiming their players are "dominant" all the time now?

Somebody from lsu gets a first down or makes a tackle and all of a sudden they are dominating.

Yall said you dominated the Bama game. Said your NFL rookies are dominating the league. Now Adams is a dominant safety.

Newsflash: look at your record, yall ain't dominating shite

No, not yet. He will be though. Adams is going to be comparable to Eric Berry when it's all said and done. They even look alike on the field.

I think the turkey may have gotten to your brain, Pimp. Landon is probably the best one on one tackler in the country.

You do realize that you don't want your safety making all of the tackles, right?

Way too early to compare Adams to an All-American safety and probable 1st round pick.

you are correct. lets compare an All American safety with Cody Prewitt, another All American safety....or Tony Connor.

This just shows that you haven't watched many LSU games. LSU plays a lot of nickel. Adams spent a lot of time around the LOS this year. He played in the same role that mathieu did in 2011.
