You have LF at 6'1 and 230 lbs, Kenny Hilliard at 6ft and 235 lbs, Terrance Magee at 5'9 220 lbs.,and Darrel Williams at 6'1 and 225 lbs.

I havent seen a rb corp this year that matches their physicality.

What's funny? I'm not calling them them the best, just the most physical.

Since you included injured Kenny Hilliard, I will say with certainty that Gurley, Chubb, Douglas, Marshall, Michel was the most physical RB group in the country. Size alone doesn't make a back physical. Maybe your 4th stringer is more physical than theirs, but they have two guys that if healthy would be the starter at LSU, and run with more physicality than anyone at Lsu.

Could make a case for Arkansas backfield as well, hell even South Carolina.

I agree with you, but are you implying Hilliard isn't a physical back? It's literally his only attribute.

No, I was just reminding ricky that Hilliard is done for the year or else he would have said "yea but Gurley is hurt"

I never said it did , but all lsu rbs ARE physical and if if you have two different rbs and they run with the same physicality, the rb that weighs more will have more power behind his pads.

Fair point.

No. After williams and collins, arky's rbs take a big drop off. There is also a big drop off for USC after davis and wilds.

Not every team rotates 4 backs (overkill iyam). If a team uses two, then that's basically their RB corps. South Carolina and Arkansas fall into that category, with A third guy sprinkled in.

2 backs are capable of carrying the load and running with physicality throughout a game.

Lsu has a physical backfield. It's just a matter of opinion whether or not it "the most physical"

A RB corps isn't apples to apples as I pointed out. If one team only uses two physical runners, does it really matter if lsu has a more physical 4th stringer than them if they're only using 2 guys?

Of course not. But this is just another version of the popular LSU moral victory thread to comfort them after such a mediocre season.

I mean our 3rd string RB is 6'2, 250 if we're just talking size.

Bad thread, even worse troll attempt if it is that.

If you had said physical rushing style, maybe, but showing their pure size and body builds is simply that size and athleticism.

We beat a bad football team, that is very thin at many positions. We looked terrific because A&M is really bad on offense right now, and when you run the HUNH, and you get 3 and outs, coupled with a smaller, thinner (numbers wise) defensive front seven, and our between the tackles running style, it was a good matchup.

Early on in the game if A&M could have just not started so poorly on offense, they would have won this game. Not taking credit away from our D because they have really stepped up, but a lot of drops, and a lot of breaks went LSU's way tonight, bottom line, that's football.
