Freeze turned down interviews for Tennessee and Auburn in 2012. Highly doubt he takes the Florida job.

He's hurting us in recruiting in Mississippi, but isn't a great tactician. Put him in Florida where he can recruit to his heart's content without interfering much with us, and still screw up on game day.

I doubt he takes it. That guy is Ole Miss to the bone marrow.

He would jump in a heartbeat if offered. He hasn't been offered and he won't be. Florida will not be that stupid this time around...they will get a proven coach. If you are a top notch coach wanna be...you gonna go to where you can get unbelievable talent and play in the East, or are you going to stay in the West at a school that on a great year loses 3-4 games....???? No brainer.

Foley is not gonna offer a guy that just got shutout by Arkansas before talking to bigger fish. He's been a great coach for us but he still struggles with play calling and making the right decisions in close games. Hopefully he grows into a better coach but I don't see him leaving for a higher pressure job. Sexton lost some leverage in negotiations when we got drilled by arkansas. He pays some nobody reporter a few grand to start a rumor and our fans freak out and pressure Bork to pay all he can. That fat POS sexton knows what he's doing. We're still paying nutt

HOw do Ole Miss fans feel about this?

Not worried about it. He'll use it as leverage to get the money he should out of us. He's not going anywhere.

It's not UF doing this in my estimation. It's Sexton.

Agree. He did it with Nutt after 2008 (Auburn rumors), and 2009 (Kansas and Colorado).

Gators should just promote Joker Phillips and be done with it! He does have head coaching experience, you know..

Now we know why we were shut out at Arkansas. Freeze was too busy trying on Gator gear

That was so weird looking back on it. For whatever reason, I really have no idea why, I remember where I was, what I was eating, and who I was with when I saw it flash on the bottom line that his name was in the mix at Kansas. I just thought to myself who the frick would want Nutt and who the frick would want to leave the SEC for Kansas?

Hey, Fighting Tigers, fight all the way.
Hey, Fighting Tigers, win that game today.
You've got the know-how, you're doing fine.
Hang on to the ball as you hit the wall and crash right through the line.
You've got to go for the touchdown, run up the score;
Make Mike the Tiger stand right up and roar.
So give it all of your might as you fight tonight, and keep the goal in view:
Victory for LSU!

Talked to someone tonight whose son works on the football team. Freeze is not going anywhere. ONe of his coaches is currently building a home in Oxford.
