We turned on Les literally his 2nd game at LSU

I really don't understand how LSU was held hostage by Les in that situation. If he even mentioned the possibility of taking the Arky job, I would have gladly showed him the door.

i mean we were 10-2 at the time, just a year removed from winning 13 games, the SEC title and playing in the BCSCG. At the time it was hard to say he didn't deserve a raise. LSU is 17-8 since then though.

17-8? It's not fireable but when your offensive game plan sucks the joy out of watching the games and you get blown out 3 times in the same season you shouldn't be surprised when the natives get restless.
