We joined the SEC and we still play our rival.

******* is the one refusing to, not us, they feel betrayed we left their precious shite box of a conference. The real facts are, playing them in Football would hurt us more then it would help us.

I heard on the radio the other day something about the SEC won't let a Texas vs AM matchup happen in a bowl because AM has too much to lose... WTF is up with that?

Was not a traditional rivalry, really just pure hatred and disdain for each other. I'm really glad it's over to be honest, life seems to be getting better since we quit playing the redlegs.

It takes 2 to maintain a rivalry. You can't blame Mizzou and A&M when their real rivals won't play them. I think it means they won!

I doubt the Clemson fans refer to SCAR fans as "slavers", the history between KANSASS and MO preceded the sports rivalry and I know it's hard to believe but KANSASS could never let the Border War go, it was the rallying cry according to insiders on many pregame hype speeches in their locker rooms before playing MIZZOU.
