Healthier food for school kids isn't a terrible thing. The fact that a huge percentage of public school children are on subsidized lunches (free) and the budget for school lunches is tiny, coupled with the fact that healthy food is more expensive than unhealthy food, means this just isn't going to work.
If she wanted to do something worthwhile, she would push for getting rid of the subsidizes that push up the price of vegetables (excluding corn) and for paying farmers to not farm land to control supply.

My favorite was the shitty side salad with Italian dressing,lettuce was all limp but that dressing was amazing!
