Hate to see how they regulated one of the schools I went to in Montgomery. We had no cafeteria at all, so meals consisted of take out and a canned soda.
Hungry Howie's, Quizno's, etc...
Those don't look as bad as they make it to be(well some of it anyway), but they have taken a nosedive. Of course in the case of the 2 schools in Montgomery I went to, it's probably partly their fault they have this now

I go have lunch with my kids every now and then and I've never seen anything like in those pictures. I do see a lot of uneaten food, but I saw that when I was in elementary school as well.

Chili cheese crispito days were the best. We use to get two or three when we went through the line and the lunch lady's were more than happy to accommodate. The problem with Michelle's approach is her sponsors. Look who they are. Coca cola, Pepsi, dominos, McDonald's, ect

I used to go with my kids all the time in elementary school. It wasn't cool to eat with Dad passed the 5th grade. I have no idea what middle school or high school food is like.
My nieces are still in elementary school. So I will go eat with them at least a couple of times a year. It's hit or miss really. The chicken fingers suck balls, but the Salisbury steak is still money.

All they've done is given smaller portions of really really unhealthy food. All of it is processed and filled with all kinds of chemicals. Portions don't matter when the food is poison... it only means our kids are poisoned and hungry.

Pizza, corn, fruit, milk. Every Friday like clockwork.

We all couldn't eat off silver spoons, brah.

What the hell kind of public schools are serving this? My three kids, all recent graduates, or still in school have never been given crap like that for lunch.
Who the hell thinks that a hot do bun with some melted cheese makes a lunch entree?

I know of a school that puts cheese on hamburger buns and calls it an entree.

I'd murder someone for a slice of cafeteria pizza right now.
2 for a side of corn nuggets...

Unfortunately, I never graced the halls of OMS or OHS. CE Hanna's was the last one I was in, so glad I had a classroom close to it. First dibs and whatnot.

I always found it weird that we had to drive to the middle of the hood for school.

Here's an example for you. When I think of healthy, I know that ammonium chloride is one of the first things on my mind.

So let me get this straight. The Obamas are full of shite? Both of them? Color me shocked (no pun intended).
I honestly couldn't even begin to guess what meat flavors 75% of those pictures contain. I recognize a few apples and an ice cream sandwich.

We would put extras in the hand holding the tray from bottom. Trade extras for more milk
