I'm not sure what qualifies as a good season for Bert…..

Shutting you up will definitely be an accomplishment, so I say yes.

They got better as the season went on and are obviously trending upwards going into next year. Not sure what else could have been expected of them.
They had a weak secondary and a horrible QB. Seems to be they've done pretty well considering.

well let's see- we'll finish 7-5 (with 3 sec wins) which is a significant improvement from last season so it will be a successful building year, yes.

Is it successful to not beat a team finishing in the top 25 and losing to Indiana at home?
Elite SEC teams don't call it successful losing to OOC teams like Indiana....at home

Considering we were only picked to win 4 games with one of the toughest schedules in the nation IN A REBUILDING SEASON, yeah, it would be a successful season.

Certainly agree with this. Doubt it will be enough to beat us, but we will see.

It'll start a successful transition into next year which will be pure domination.

Depends on context. If you mean successful in terms of record, maybe not. I consider it an extremely successful season even if Missouri wins because in the breadth of eighteen months he has the Hogs playing excellent football. Consecutive shutouts of one perennial power and one Top Ten team, great defense and running game, and he is playing with only one Bielema recruited class, so, yes, extremely successful, win or lose.

Mizzou is probably between the 6-8th toughest team on the schedule, to be honest.

Did I say that we had a successful season. I would say crapping the bed against Florida and South Carolina is pretty terrible, but hey Georgia has equally bad losses compared to their good wins.
We going to the ship.

Have you seen the East these days? Sorry we took advantage.

Yes especially since they had several close losses and didn't quit. Bert caught a lot of crap on here for almost two years, but I think he did a hell of a coaching job this year.

making a bowl game this year is an accomplishment for this team, this is a house money game.

Yes. We've played one of the toughest schedules in college football HISTORY and are bowl eligible all while putting a new system in place with mostly another coach's players.

That will be what Arky does. I'd rather do that and finish 9-3, just saying.

With a cupcake schedule like mizzou has, you have no reason to NOT accomplish that.
Indiana.

I understand that. I was just asking if you thought the teams success hinged on this weekend. It seems like you are pretty content at this juncture.
