That is why you're screwed, once Mizzou stops your run game, what are you going to do?

So Arky shut him down, right?

We lost by 13, you lost by 34. I'd say we handled it better than you did.

Game will be close and Allen will not be playing so they will be relying even more heavily on the run.

First we run a gadget offense and now we're going to give up six sacks? It's like some of these Mizzou fans don't know anything about football.

You said Chubb was a second string back

How many yards did he run for?

To Gladius:

Arkansas and Missouri have very similar defensive numbers but the Hogs offense ranks well ahead of Missouri in most categories. This wouldn't be very significant except for the fact that Arkansas' SOS is 3rd in the country and Missouri's is 25th. Add to this Missouri plays like crap at home and I'm pretty optimistic for my boys this weekend. Hope for an injury free game and I hope none of you guys suffer from the crazy stuff going on up there.

It will be a close game. It will also be decided by which QB derps the most.

You realize Chubb rushed 40 times for 140 yards right?

Mizzou's rush defense was not bad against UGA, our offense gave them short field after short field, 6 turnovers, nothing to do with the defense.

I love this excuse. They only got yards because they ran it a lot? Dude, they ran it a lot BECAUSE IT WAS WORKING. There's no reason to pass when a team can just run it down your throat.

Actually, that "low" rushing ypc Georgia had doesn't bode well for you. That means they got 3-4 yards consistently, without Missouri ever getting a TFL or stuffing it. That's exactly how Arkansas's offense wants to operate. We're not trying to hit the homerun, we're trying to grind you down.

Yeah. It comes down to some pretty basic questions.

1). Can Mizzou slow down the run? We won't stop it. Can we slow it down? If we can, we will get pressure on Allen and 3rd and 6+ will not be a good situation for y'all's offense.
2). Does the offense look more like the UGA and SCe games? Or more like Tennessee and A&M? Our WRs are healthy again now and that has certainly helped the past few weeks. Mauk has continued to be a guy who completes 47% of his passes but makes enough plays to put the team in position to win. I'm certain the Arkansas defense will have some input on this question as well.

I think those two questions decide the game.

Arkansas is built more like Georgia with a power run offense, Tennessee & A&M are spread teams, like Mizzou.

Advantage- Arkansas

Will Matty Mauk be the MVP for Arkansas, like Bo Wallace was last week?

Last week I created this thread against Tennessee, and very predictably I was laughed out by the retardrant. Mizzou piled up exactly 6 sacks against Tennessee.

Wasn't exactly a huge stretch as Tennessee has the worst OL in the SEC, and it's not even close.
