Nice road win. CMA is the only coach other than Pitino to beat Larry Brown in Moody (sorry if already mentioned...late to the thread and shite).

@HImagazine: SMU's Larry Brown: "Arkansas came out more prepared to play and we were out-coached. We were 1-of-9 from the field with 7 turnovers. Awful."

@HImagazine: Brown: "They just came at us and we weren't ready. Our crowd helped us get back into the game, but we lost to a great team."

@HImagazine: Brown: "I don't ever remember having a team in my life going 1-of-9, 7 turnovers to start a game. We couldn't even get it over halfcourt."

@HImagazine: Larry Brown: "That kid Portis is a pretty damn good player. He is going to be playing somewhere else (NBA) pretty soon."

@HImagazine: Brown: "Portis is just a different kid this year. We wanted Nick Babb - he can barely get in at Arkansas. Probably put him in for his family."

@aafulller: Coaching legend Larry Brown: "I don't think their coach has to beg them to play hard; it's a culture now at Arkansas."

Second year in a row Brown has told the media he was out coached by Mike.

SMU is vastly overrated.

Arkansas has a good team that should make the tournament.

That's all.

I'm sure somewhere in the world, Mike Brown is relevant.

SMU would spank LSU.

Enjoy maybe squeeking into the NIT and DIAF.

Saying a team Arkansas just beat is vastly overrated wasn't a troll? Riiiiiiight.

SMU will be in the NCAAT, if that's "vastly overrated" I want what you are smoking/snorting.

SMU is overrated. They looked awful when they played Gonzaga. I stand by that statement.

I also stand by the statement that Arkansas is a good team that will be in the NCAA tournament.

I don't see what's wrong with either of those statements.

And no, I don't think SMU is a tournament team. They weren't last year, and they've lost every game they've played against decent teams this year. They are a pretender.

They are also without their 2 best players.

Arkansas won 22 games last year and still didn't go dancing.

They won't get Kennedy back until next semester. They will likely have zero quality wins heading into conference play. And the AAC will be much weaker this year compared to last year, thanks to the departure of Louisville and also the small drop-offs of Memphis and UConn.

There is currently one team ranked in the AAC.

As for Arkansas, they are a better team than last year. They should really be the 2nd best team in the league this year.
