But right now they haven't even shown up the past 2 games in Maui. Throw that in with a loss to UMKC, Mizzou is only dragging the SEC down now

They have a losing record to us in basketball over the last two years. That's pretty damn bad.

I think they acclimated fairly well. Started playing good football and basketball went to crap. Now all they need is a better baseball team and they will have made the perfect transition.

Yes , it is odd the way Mizzou has become typical SEC.

Mizzou still cares about basketball, so give the new coach some time.

Most of the mizzou fans I know hate the Anderson hire and see it as a bush league, emotional hire.

But they're all on a Chiefs board that has a notoriously cynical group of fans for all sports, so they're also whining and complaining about the Mizzou football team constantly despite their success. I take their complaining with a grain of salt.

I believe that there's some bad juju out there for Alden in the basketball coaching world. Some deserved, some probably undeserved. He didn't have a good pool of candidates on this one or put all his eggs in the Marshall basket.

*Anderson

Anderson may or may not be a good hire, but you can't put much of this on him, at least not yet. Haith was great at recruiting players to come play for him who thereafter IMMEDIATELY regretted their decision and transferred out or declared for the NBA; as such there's a grand total of one white guy who has been around for more than two years (and he's a junior). The backcourt has some talent but is incredibly green, and the frontcourt is going to get destroyed by anyone with a pulse. Purdue has a 7-footer and a backup 7'2" kid (who is from Alabama; thanks for letting him out of the state).

They'll be better at the end of the season than they are now, but they will be pretty bad all year.

You guys will be a lot better next year when Jimmy Whitt gets on campus. He's right there in Columbia isn't he?

Jimmy will be a helluva player most likely. Anderson will develop him as well as he did B.J. Young. The good fellow is in capable hands.

Corliss Williamson and Scotty Thurman are not walking through that door.
