Missouri players seem better coached and more disciplined from what I've seen.

Not a Pinkel v Bert question. The ENTIRE coaching package.

Steck is a top 5-10 defensive coach in the county.

I think the Tigers are very well coached in most aspects but they seem to get a lot of stupid costly penalties (false starts on first down, delay of games, pass interference/unsportsmanlike conduct) Our fans like to says its a big conspiracy (The phantom PI against UT was horrendous but most of the other calls were legit) but I think they are not very disciplined in that aspect of the game.

Penalties are way up this season. That's gotta be on coaching.

Offense has been extremely inconsistent. That's at least partially to blame on coaching.

The defense though has been outstanding, as has player development in general.

I would not trade Bielema or Sam Pittman for anyone on their staff.

Would like to have their WR coach and maybe their QB coach though.

I'd say our OLine coach blows.

I'm not happy about our Offensive play calling from the OC. Hard to tell how much is Mauk and how much is Henson.

The rest is pretty good.

I'd say they're pretty evenly staffed.

8 of the OP's last 12 threads started are about Arkansas. 11 days later and the melt is still going strong.

I thought about attributing defense to coaching, and it's true to some degree.

But you can make DCs look like geniuses when you can effectively rush the passer with just 4 DLmen.

not to blow any narratives here but the Hogs have been pretty disciplined all year. Rank near the top in the SEC in both fewest penalties and turnovers.

Yeah. Our penalties have been bad. ST has been bad the past few games, too.

Both coaching issues.
