Folks familiar with Charlotte/Panthers - tailgating spots & evening entertainmen

Going to Charlotte for ACC championship and thinking about doing a true tailgate. Not sure, as I'm staying near airport... but in doing research wanted to see if any of you familiar with the Charlotte area and/or Panthers fans could give me a feel for where I would best be able to set up?
Additionally - any recommendations for bars/restaurants for Saturday night and Sunday brunch would be appreciated.
