A lot less than expected honestly. I expected store owners to defend themselves a lot better.

I actually do have a problem with it... Its not just a piece of fabric they are burning it's a symbol for who we are...but I don't want to argue about it so I'll just say that I know a good number of people of various backgrounds who were not happy with the pictures floating around of them burning the flag

They had plenty of time to prepare, i.e. get the expensive stuff out, or they just said frick it and will be moving somewhere else for business.

I think they also expected the police to do more to disperse the crowd. LOL at that.

I wonder how many people increased their insurance this week and just plan on cutting bait and moving after last night

who we are? You probably have an unrealistic, idealistic perception of who we are.

For real. They are rioting over one criminal getting shot, burning a flag that millions have died for. One cause greatly outweighs the other.

You don't like 'Merica?

Maybe we should deport you to Old Mexico then you can figure out why the world loves 'Merica and why everyone wants to come here.

I pledge allegiance to the flag, and Budweiser and Marlboro. And guns. What do you pledge allegiance to? Susan Sarandon, Jane Fonda and the ACLU?

'Merica. Love it or leave it. GTFO.

Well I am an American who understands that a large number of people have died for us and are away from their families right now and will be for the holidays...I think that's a disrespect to them and veterans... Go back and watch the "coming home" videos of troops that ESPN shows... Or ask marcus luttrell if it upsets him...

Typically insurance doesn't cover things like riots, war, etc.. And I doubt any insurance companies would have let them add on to their current plan anyway knowing what's going to happen.
