Bama Bball will be hard to deal with in SEC

Looks like we will be a hi 70s mid 80s ppg type team... Randolph will be a legit POY candidate... as our defense comes around we could be a tournament team.. Big game tonight for Bama to be on tourney pace... we need the rest of the SEC to pick it up as well or league play will be meaningless again... cost us the tourney in '11 and '12.

I don't want to say all of that yet, but I think we will better especially now that we have an actual point guard. These guys certainly look pretty promising for sure.

I'm sure people were saying the same thing last year when we only lost by 10 to Duke.

Yea, and only made the NCAA Tournament in 1 of those seasons because we lost multiple games to 100+ rpi teams and lost all our meaningful OOC games.
The equivalent of bragging about Marshall going 12-0 this year.
I think we are better and more fun to watch this year, and last night was a positive step, but if we follow it up with another loss today this is probably a 17-15 team with no NCAA shot.

you didn't see the game obviously.. Bama took the lead several times throughout the game.. the margin only went past 3 in the last minute... we didn't handle that part all to well but we will be better for it... at least we're playing good teams unlike most of the league.

We are a better team than last year. I don't know if we are a tournament team, but we are showing an offense that has signs of life which has been a rare feat under Grant. We lost last night because of some mistakes on the defensive side of the ball rather than ineptitude on the offensive side. I think we will beat a few good teams this year while also inexplicably losing to a few bad teams. This team may have the makings of a bubble team.

We don't agree on much (or anything really) but this is probably as close as it will get.. I do believe we will do better than 17 wins regardless of tonight.. But tonite is HUGE for us going forward.
