There's a lot of money, power and political hay to be made from racial tension. There was no way that the profiteers from this were going to allow the facts to get into the way of being outraged.

Well obviously there are more than 10 black people in Colorado. There are probably a dozen or so in my office alone.

The Census Bureau has the black population of Colorado at 4.4%, so yeah, very few compared to Georgia (31.4%) or even Missouri (11.7%).

There are a bunch of rich liberals here, though, who aren't living unless they are complaining about something, so there will probably be some small demonstrations.

If racial harmony were to break out, per MLK's dream, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Joseph Lowery and the whole lot would starve in the streets.

And that's not necessarily a bad thing.
