He deserves a lot more time to allow his plan to be fully implemented.

Feel free to talk about Tennessee swimming, track, baseball, basketball or any other sport in this thread, also.

Youngest team in the country
Only team in the country to replace both O & D Lines.

6 was the goal all year.

I'd say he deserves another year minimum.

is this a response thread to a Tennessee fan's thread about their own program?

He reminds me of Curly Hallman.

Any perceived resemblance to another thread on the board is purely and completely coincidental.

Would you be so kind as to PM me a link? I would not want to anger anybody by bringing up r----g, but I am interested in the story.

A rower who allegedly is known on campus for crazy in general is the one who accused AJ but even she only did so after someone else convinced her too - they believed her story because by the time they heard it she was upset but she didn't leave the party upset.

It's just a big mess to say the least. The other woman went back to her home state and university immediately and distanced herself (she never accused AJ).

I won't call her a liar. But I will say that in 4 years of AJ no one has even hinted that he was anything other than a good guy. I was worried when this first came out and very heartbroken because I honestly don't want to live in a world where AJ is a bad guy - it's just so out of character but you know anything's possible. People can def. fool you.

But the more that's come out, the more it looks like he may well be innocent. Now the other guy, Williams, I haven't heard good things about and many think he's guilty. And it's not just a star thing either we need(ed) Williams bad against Mizzou - he's started most of the year and he was very much missed this game. Still, nothing I've heard indicates his innocence.

In this case Title IX wasn't a factor. It was the police call that did it. CBJ has been pretty good about this sort of thing and his only real choice was to suspend and let it play out.

To make matters worse, it was a teammmate who urged them to go to cops. He called his father first (who is a cop) and obviously the girl was upset enough to where he thought his only real option was to tell them (esp. her), "Look if this happened you have to call police." I can't blame him though he did the right thing as hard as it was - what else can you do when someone comes to you an emotional wreck and claiming a rape occurred other than to say what he said?

BUT needless to say this whole mess + a teammate being the one trying to do the right thing/urging them to call if something did happen created a bigger distraction than folks realized.
