Had to delete.... don't want the dude getting fired, he didn't post it to stir up trouble, he posted it on a UGA fan page on FB to brag how awesome it was to be Pruitt's waiter.
I'm the one who took the Cheap Bastard angle on it.... not the waiter.

And he has to do the math and write down a 7, then change it up to a 9, to be right at 20%, instead of just writing down $10 and making it easy on himself?

Prob just did what I do, %10 of 45 is 4.5 then double that and you get 9. It's easier that way.

Or maybe the service wasn't great and he wasn't just gonna give out 20% to be nice but rather make him earn it and that philosophy is why guys like Wiggins left?

The dude on Facebook I lifted this from was the waiter, and a huge Georgia fan, I'm sure Pruitt got 1st class service.

But in all seriousness, frick that waiter. Why has this become a thing now? Shaming famous/popular people by taking pictures of their receipts where they will never be able to tell their side of the story. He should be fired immediately.

If I made $850,000 a year and wasn't a mormon cardiologist with $400,000 of student loans and 9 kids, I wouldn't be nickle and diming over $7 vs $9 on a tip.

I was joking about the service part. I honestly don't care at all about it and it says zero about him. If he stiffed the guy then yea that'd be extra shitty, but he didn't.
And I also don't like people that complain about "this guy tipped above 15% but he has money so I still deserve more of it."

What's the problem? Pruitt was probably there around an hour. Given the nine plus the pitiful minimum wage, and assuming no other tables being waited by the server, this is over $11 an hour IF the waiter didn't have to "tip out" anyone else.
Better than McDonald's and even some warehouse jobs.
I think we can assume that the waiter had other tables as well...
Besides...it's twenty percent. fricking waiter needs to lose his/her job for posting this.

That's fine for Dr. Bob the cardiologist, but when you are Mr. Big Time football coach, it's like being Prince or Jerry Seinfeld. You have to tip more because of who you are. You are a public figure.
