I don't think anyone minds the strong association UGA has with football. We just get annoyed when ignorant shite talking nerds pretend that is ALL UGA is.
Hoping to deflect from the fact that UGA is better than them in pretty much everything but engineering.

So, obviously, Hate Week and all that.
My problem, and it will never be fixed, because this is simply part of the COFH that each side spews...but UGA is turning into a very respectable academic institution compared to 30+ years ago. I'm as geeky as anyone (just accepted an offer with a company as Software Dev, woo...), and it blows my mind that people try to stereotype UGA as a bunch of mouthbreathing jocks. The current UGA student body is way different than that of the past. Nerds are freaking everywhere.
I'm not offended that people try to brand us as a football school. But, to imply that's literally all we are... Have you even seen our student section? Pathetic. Most of them are gone by halftime. Hardly football-centric

Chrissy... There are 128 FBS teams & 124 operate the same way. GT, Army, Navy & AF are on an island by themselves...
Don't blame UGA & the other 123 "normal" schools for your fricking problems...
Either own what you are, accept you lot in the "Big Boy" CFB world & STFU or change to the system the rest of us use...

Somebody is butthurt they can't recruit their own backyard. I attended and graduated from UGA, and preferential treatment towards athletes does not bother me at all. In fact, if it pisses off Tech fans, I am for it.
