Who is the biggest recent recruiting bust? 2014 has brought some cream to the top and filtered out a lot of the trash along the way. Out of the last few years, who is the biggest let down? I omitted anyone out due to serious injuries, such as Lawson.
- Reuben Foster - Seeing negligible time at Bama, was supposed to be gods gift to LB and to this point hasn't done anything. Somewhat understandable behind their starters.
- Speedy Noil - Seeing considerable snaps but doing nothing to ride home about, I give him a pass until he gets a consistent QB to mesh with.
- Robert Nkemdiche - Praised as 'the next Clowney', ESPN loved him so much they are still wiping their faces. Despite playing virtually every snap when healthy, is currently credited two sacks and zero forced fumbles for the 2014 season.
- Da'Shawn Hand - Averaging less than a tackle a game at Alabama in little playing time.

Isn't Speedy a freshman?

Disagree.
I'd nominate Malachi Dupre, BUT a Jerry Rice and Calvin Johnson duo would struggle to get a couple of catches with that shite product Miles rolls out.

meh freshmen should be taken with a grain of salt
sometimes it just takes some longer to adjust than others

Not even close. He has played his arse off the entire season and was the only one trying during the three game skid they had.

I wouldn't classify any of those guys as busts.
- Noil is playing a ton and has a bunch of catches
- Foster, like pretty much every LB who doesn't have a football IQ through the roof, won't play until his JR year. He is as much of a bust as Landon Collins was at this point last season
- Hand is in the 2nd group rotating behind a bunch of NFL players on our DL

He is a true Freshman that Bama knew wouldn't come in and be a starter right away. He is doing well and will be a good player for Bama in his time there.

If you're going to list him, you have to list Chris Jones as well.

Incredibly dumb

I think I give 5 star recruits a break when they're competition is the last 2 year's 5 star recruits at that position. #BamaProblems

Only correct answer...So much hype and little to no production

Pretty sure Robert has 3 sacks. I know he has at least two. He can't close on plays. Idk what to say about it other than he gets to the backfield about 10 times a game, but he can't wrap up the Rb or the qb is just out of arms reach or something. It's pretty fricking maddening.

Foster's main problem is that he knocks himself out every other snap

Beat to it

Not as highly rated, less playing time, more results. Left him off for the same reason I left out Fournette and Kelvin Taylor, they are producing.

Foster may not play beyond this season, the way he keeps getting concussed.
Robert Nkemdiche is an easy choice given the insane amount of hype around him. Was supposedly a "greek god" and the best player to come out of Georgia since Herschel. Hell, Nick Chubb has more of a claim to that particular title right now than RN.
