Explain it to me because I just don't see it...

vs Oklahoma State (5-6, 3-5) in Arlington, TX (Cowboys Classic) W 37–31, 6 point win
The Citadel (5-7, 3-5) FCS school @ Doak W 37–12, 25 point win
#22/#24 Clemson (8-3, 6-2) @ Doak W 23–17 OT, 6 point win
@ NC State (6-5, 2-5) • Raleigh, NC W 56–41, 15 point win
Wake Forest (3-8, 1-6) @ Doak W 43–3, 40 point win
@ Syracuse (3-8, 1-6) • Syracuse, NY W 38–20, 18 point win
Notre Dame (7-4, IND) @ Doak W 31–27, 4 point win
@ #24/#23 Louisville (8-3, 5-3) • Louisville, KY 42–31, 11 point win
Virginia (5-6, 3-4) @ Doak W 34–20, 14 point win
@ Miami (6-5, 3-4) • Miami Gardens, FL W 30–26, 4 point win
Boston College (6-5, 3-4) @ Doak W 20–17, 3 point win

Not 1 Top 20 opponent in the lot
Only 2 currently ranked teams (barely) and both have 3 losses already
Notre Dame is already 7-4 and they finish @ Southern Cal

Gators, take these fools out this week!

I can't imagine any rational FSU fan would argue their schedule is on par with anybody in the West. They might argue one of the East schools but I still think that is a pretty hilarious stretch.

They have nothing to apologize for, they are undefeated and will be in the playoff if they beat Florida and we will sort this thing out. But the overreaction they have to make it sound like all these close wins vs 6-8 win ACC teams is not only NOT a bad thing but is somehow super impressive is a joke.

They have Oklahoma St, Notre Dame and Florida out of conference, that's better than any other SEC team's non conference. Obviously SEC schedule is a lot tougher than ACC right now but you can't penalize FSU for that.

Can't say they didn't try to upgrade their schedule. Oklahoma St, Florida, and Notre Dame would easily be the hardest OOC schedule in the country most years.

In most years, but this year all 3 are down

If they are undefeated, sure they get a spot, but right now I am hoping the Gators expose them going into the ACC CCG.

You can when they claim their schedule is harder than an SEC schedule. That's the whole point. You're comparing the entire schedule, not just OOC. The ACC is a joke, 3 games against teams that are down this year doesn't make that go away.

Doesn't matter if the schedule is harder as long as they have ACC refs they're allowed to take off their helmets for no penalty, they will get bailed out if the other team scores a winning touchdown and they can shove a ref out of the way and it's not the penalty it is everywhere else.

Hell, those kind of refs make even Bama jealous.

And we didn't even mention the let it slide TPD.

they will have a run these next 3 weeks or so, that mirrors a typical SEC schedule...tune up- UF...a little more pressure- GT and then if they make those two games, they will have a tough one lol

Bowden was blunt when he was asked why he chose to join the ACC over the SEC." I will have a chance at winning the NC every yr while in the ACC." Nothing has changed. Who are the #2-3 teams in that league? Put them in the West & they finish at the bottom, with credit being given to the hawgs for finally showing some SEC cred.

they don't need to apologize for their schedule ... that's not a weak schedule ... the dame ain't winning a title this year, but they are a tough opponent now ... osu is off, but they have been decent the past few ... florida isn't very good, but they've still got athletes who know, on occasion, how to play good football ... can't do anything about their conference opponents, but their ooc schedule is absolutely second to none ...
