I wouldn't think it would be too bad. Like others have said, the only thing that would really make it bad is that people are pissed at the collapse we are currently experiencing, but that also could work in the opposite way as well. I've been going to games since I was 12, had a lot of state friends and family come along with us wearing maroon and white and we've generally had no issue.

Before the game will be fine if you aren't a dick. The only thing any state fan should be worried about is after the game if ole miss wins. You will have to hold tour tongue to not have problems.
