Will give Bama the "in" to the SEC Championship game. From there, Bama beats Mizzou or Georgia and makes the national championship playoffs - even if they lose a close match to Auburn.

Thanks Bert.

Did you dream that in a failed planned drug OD?

No 2 loss team makes it in, until all with less than 2 do.

Not counting Marshall & Colorado State.

Ole Miss won't beat MSU, and Bama isn't making the playoffs if they lose to Auburn without a lot of help.

A large portion of tRant has not looked up any Egg Bowl history. Here is a disclaimer for you:

The visiting team very rarely wins.

What are you seeing that would make this year any different?

MSU has won 4 out the last 5. State is going ruin the Rebels one game home Egg Bowl winning streak.

This will be similar to the 2010 Egg Bowl in Oxford. Dawgs win.

Could happen but would require a lot of help. I'm sure Saban would rather take care of business Saturday.

I'm as big a state as there is but all that 4 outta the last 5 ish means absolutely nothing in regards to THIS YEAR's game.

Ole miss would love nothing more than to ruin our playoff chances and by doing that they would be in a very nice bowl game at 9-3. So there is plenty of incentive.

Hope our guys aren't getting a big head especially after seeing the ole miss/arky score yesterday.
They are gonna be damn tough at home.

Ole Miss had all the incentive in the world to beat Arkansas, playing to keep their SECCG hopes alive, NYD bowl etc and laid an egg, don't think spite will be enough to keep Dawgs from rolling in Oxford.
