If Mizzou wins out, they're in the SECCG. As much as its hard to stomach, it might not necessarily be a bad thing for UGA. I and I'm sure all of the UGA supporters on this board would love to play and win the SECC... Having Mizzou get throttled could help our bowl situation. If UGA does happen to make it to Atlanta, losing to Bama would most likely put us back into a Florida bowl. Finish 10-2, UGA could make it to a Big 6 bowl and possibly play a different opponent not associated with the Big 10. Thoughts?

Moo State will go to the Big 6 bowl and Bama in the playoffs. He would be stuck with Capital One playing Wisconsin.

If we miss the SECCG, then I would like to see us play Michigan State or Oklahoma in a bowl game.

The only positive I got from yesterday's games was Nebraska losing, because that (I hope) killed any chances for a part 3 rematch with them. I prefer any matchup not involving the B1G 10, unless the only alternative is Marshall.

I want to play Wisconsin so Chubb can show that he's better than Gordon. Tired of hearing about him.

IF Mizz doesn't lose, we gotta pull for Ole Miss (and of course beat Tech). That gives us at least two options for one of the big bowls and likely pull a better match up.

The only one of the large bowls with affiliations is Orange. I like the new bowls situation better with regional matchups vs bowls picking and choosing.

As discussed in other thread, the only way I see us going Orange is if Miss State loses to Ole Miss OR goes to playoff AND Louisville moves past Tech and Clemson.

Otherwise, we are very likely headed to Peach. The Marshall thing doesn't provide much upside though. The Michigan State game would be a solid match up.

That said. GO Hogs. Beat Tech.

Go big or go home... Meaning play Bama and give it our best shot. We don't want to settle for sliding into a good bowl by avoiding Bama like Florida did 2 years ago getting into the Sugar bowl. Even if we can't find a way into top 4 winning the SEC would be an awesome thing that's long overdue and who knows we still got a shot at the top 4 providing Mizzou loses and gives us a chance?

We need Missouri and Florida State/Oregon/Ohio State/ TCU to lose.
We need to win out.
Then we're in the playoffs

Peach/Cotton/Orange aren't 3rd rate. Outback and Citrus...I will give you 3rd rate.

Getting a team in playoffs means $6 million. $12 with two.

Teams in Peach/Cotton $4 million.

The SEC really wants to get somebody in Orange. That contract brings more than playoffs game to conf/team...$27 million.

Playoffs are the only games that matter anymore. The other games are for Miss Congeniality. We want top 4, and we have an outside shot at it. Not the time to be thinking otherwise. Go Hogs.

Realistically, what are the odds that Arky beats mizzzzou?

probably somewhere around 40%.

Arkansas has really come on strong and are playing their best ball yet, but missouri is still pretty good (when they bring their A game) and it's in missouri. They've only played 2 games in opponent's stadiums since the last week in september.

That really bites. Looks like we won't be in ATL this year.

between tennessee and arky, I thought missouri would be more likely to lose to tennessee. I'm already preparing myself to be let down, but arkansas does have a fighting chance.
