What is the best food you have had at an away SEC game that truly impressed you enough to say, "Damn that was the best ______ I've ever had."

LSU fans can cook couchon de lait (sp???)- freakin amazing. Guy who cooked it put the meat on French bread with some home-made spicy sauce and called it a Couchon Poboy. He let me try one and offered me an abita amber. Have tried to replicate it with no luck. Man that was awesome.

The Pretzels at Sam's Club are pretty legit, plus they'll give you a cup for nacho cheese for 25 cents.

Best food at a road game was probably at Georgia, in the early 1993; a Bulldog tailgate party had way too much food, and they were good enough sports to offer a couple of slabs of ribs to the Hog fans tailgating next to them.

Damned fine food, damned fine people. That was the first road game where it really felt like the newness had worn off.

I had some pretty good cheese dip in Columbia in 2012. Venison sausage mixed in with velveeta. Scooped with the super-sized Frito Scoops.

The $25 cheeseburger at Dallas Cowboy Stadium is actually pretty darn good.

Smokey dogs are pretty good. Haven't visited a lot of away stadiums though.

My favorite game food was the little helmets of ice cream at Barons games.

When Ohio State & its wealthy, i.e. snobby as hell, fans came to TS back in the 90's, we offered several some rabbit sauce pecant, but did not tell them what they were eating till all had several mouthfuls. They all froze, but then we told them to relax, we only cook the brown rabbits the pet stores could not sell. Our wives did not speak to us the rest of the day. But, damn, that was some good rabbit. But to the question, used to always get some incredible ribs around Legion Field back in the day.

You'll be disappointed once you get to the counter, no corn dogs in DV

But you won't be disappointed, we sell them at Kyle Field. Whole family enjoyed them a few weeks ago, they are pretty good.

I've been to tailgates catered by Ruth Chris in Gainesville but I'm not sure if that really counts here. As far as home cooked food goes, nothing beats Baton Rouge.

Any pulled pork prepared by any Alabaman. Damn that stuff is good.

Texans know how to do brisket too. Miss it...

I had some amazing Boudain outside tiger stadium a few years ago.

I still daydream about it every now and then.
