A) Should have the best record.
B) Should be playing the best football at the end of the season.
C) Should be the team playing the best football consistently throughout the season.
D) Should be the team playing the best football with 0-1 losses.
E) A combination of all of the above.

Obviously, whoever wins the college football playoff is the "National Champion," but how should the committee be determining which teams deserve a shot in the playoff? They definitely look at many factors beyond what I've listed but what do you think?

The National Champions will have beaten 2 top 4 teams in a row. That's good enough for me.

A) Should have the best record.

No because unless LaTech beats Marshall or they lose in their bowl gamethey will probably finish undefeated.

B) Should be playing the best football at the end of the season.

That is the beauty of the playoffs

C) Should be the team playing the best football consistently throughout the season.

well nobody has been consistent this season so this wouldn't apply

depends on the year. In 07 for example would you have put a undefeated Hawaii in over LSU or UGA?

E) A combination of all of the above.

How about the 4 beast teams and the winner is the champ. If you lose to auburn or SECCG you are out. Deal with it.
