You'll be ranked after you shut Mizzou out.

Jesus...you pigs are intolerable....you've LOST 5 games, pump the brakes a little...I know it's been a long burning dumpster fire up there but a little reality might be in order after your mega 2 game SEC "streak"...LOL

what's the point of having a ranking system then?

The point of the ranking system is to rank teams based on their performance (for the entire year, not just for the past 2 weeks).

Arkansas is 6-5 and 2-5. That is bottom dweller material.

I understand their frustration... Hell they look like a top 10 team right now... They'd beat FSU IMO and convincingly...

WTF makes you think this?? 2 shutouts to teams
that had their hearts ripped out before they played them
it was a perfect storm for the pigs
but no fricking way they beat FSU "convincingly"

this is such a lame fricking excuse. If you can't handle losing a game or two then your team is mentally weak. You think our team didn't have their hearts ripped out after giving up a two touchdown lead to A&M, and then losing because of a missed PAT at Bama, and then only by a touchdown against State? Yet we kept on playing hard. "We had our hearts ripped out" is an excuse used by pussies.

They are a MUCH better team now than they were earlier this year... Anyone who doesn't believe that is delusional. They almost beat Bama and don't give me that "hearts ripped out" BS... They CURBED STOMPED Ole Miss and as much as I dislike them, Ole Miss is legit.... Arkansas would beat FSU by @ LEAST 10 if they played them now.

It's a harder argument to sell when "had your hearts ripped out" and "didn't have your hearts ripped out" were both getting the same results for most of two seasons. So I don't blame you for not using it.

Though I'm not sure why OM would use it. Their loss to Auburn (and loss of Treadwell) was three weeks ago.

Even the voters don't understand what rankings mean. Records have nothing to do with rankings. I don't know why this is so hard to understand. "Arkansas has 5 losses, they shouldn't be ranked!!" Well, when you lose to #2 Alabama, #8 Georgia, #15 Auburn, #4 Missippi State, and Texas A&M (when they were ranked), then you shutout an LSU team (ranked at the time) and a top ten Ole Miss team (who holds the lone win over Alabama) DOESN'T THAT MAKE YOU A TOP 25 TEAM????

Don't they teach logic anymore??

How many teams in this top 25 list would beat Arkansas right now on a neutral field?

FSU? Maybe
Alabama? no
Oregon? Maybe
Miss State? Maybe
Baylor? Maybe
TCU? Maybe
Ohio State? Maybe
Georgia? no
Arkansas <-----------
UCLA? yes
Michigan State? yes
Kansas State? yes
Arizona? yes
Arizona State? yes

ETC, ETC, ETC

See how this works??

These are called standings.....

SEC Standings

* - Missouri 6-1 9-2
