It was South Alabama, so I'll keep this brief.

-Our defense during the 2nd half was MUCH better, we only allowed 80ish yards.

-The whole team acted like they were hungover the 1st half, it was sloppy and awful. They did get it together in the 2nd half and we covered the spread.

-I saw Stallworth a lot in the 2nd half, I thought he Dukes and Surratt had good games, they stopped that RB a lot at the line.

-Brison showed how a Sr should go out at home, he made plays all over the field.

-Skai Moore did well. Chris Lammons did not, he was getting beat bad in man coverage.

-Wilds is looking like he's coming back, that's awesome for us. Davis is going to have to have 2 amazing games if he's going to get drafted in the Top 4 rounds, that performance yesterday hurt his stock. I like David Williams, but I don't like the thought of having another RB with fumbling problems. Hopefully that fumble was just a fluke.

-I can't believe we covered the spread and had sooooo many turnovers.

-Pharoh Cooper is going to be All SEC this year, he's amazing.

Mike Davis went out pitifully at home.

Also what the frick is going on with Roland? Is he done? Did he even see the field yesterday? Is there any injury I don't know about?

He had 2 fumbles in under a fistful of touches, I would've been surprised if he touched the ball after the 2nd fumble, so I understand why they held him out. Hopefully he tears up clemson this saturday.

After the game, they said Roland wasn't a part of the 2 deep for this game. He got himself in the doghouse for his lack of performance in the florida game...and that lazy block that coulda cost Wilds big time.
I hope this motivates him this week.

Also this,

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

When the parents of Drew Owens came to Williams-Brice Stadium to celebrate their son's Senior Day, in what could he his last home game of his Gamecock career, their son wasn't there.

Although he is a junior, Owens was recognized on Senior Day before the University of South Carolina game against South Alabama. The tight end from Charlotte, NC is eligible to forego his final year of eligibility to enter the NFL draft. His parents were at the stadium waiting for him.

"We haven't found him yet," said Head Coach Steve Spurrier after the game. "His parents haven't found him yet."

Moments after Spurrier left the post-game press conference, he found out Owens had overslept. Saturday's game kicked off at noon.

South Carolina beat South Alabama to become eligible for a bowl game, 37-12.

He's been found, dude apparently "overslept".

Is that the word on Roland, guy is a stoner? Jesus Christ can somebody introduce him to the story of Ricky Williams?

Also were f00ked next year on offense as well as defense. Unless OBC finally realizes he has to change things. Cooper in the wildcat/zone options/Speed Option is our only shot. And before any of you jump me, the kids numbers at receiver will be shot next season due to having no one to throw to him. Not to mention he'll be shaded all year long by defenses.

Being a "stoner" isn't an excuse for anything. I used to smoke weed and was never late for work, always did what I needed to, everything.

It's the same principal as alcohol. Don't do it before work, don't do it when some important shite is going on, and don't overdo it.

I think he was using "stoner" more like alcoholic than just someone that smokes pot though.

And from what I've been hearing for a while Roland doesn't just smoke pot, he does it all the time

On a side note did anybody who was at the game remember when the halftime show ended everyone chanting usa usa, it didn't occur to me until after the game that we were chanting our opponents acronym.

That's probably one of the best stories out there for a guy who had all world talent and ability who just decided to smoke himself retawded.

I don't think Mitch is going to be that bad. I don't think there will be as significant of a drop of in ability from Thompson to him. We'l be weaker on the left side of the OL, that will probably have more to do with it if Mitch isn't doing awesome. Defenses are already shading in double teaming Cooper now. He's a great wildcat QB though and we can use him several times a game if it's working. Our best hope is that Shaq comes to Jesus and decides he's all in next season. Defenses won't be able to shade/double cover both those guys without greatly exposing other options. If Shaq doesn't come to Jesus, then Deebo better step up with the quickness.

He may be. However, when Bubba was talking about the development of the WR's during fall camp, he said that Deebo was the closest to being able to play this season. Davidson has a high football IQ like Pharoh, but Deebo has that elite level speed and athleticism.
