Why does B.J. make the players race all over the field and give 110%, but shutdowns with 2 minutes to go with time outs in his pocket in the 1st half. He has done this a couple of time's. I don't know about you but that drives me nuts.

What succuess had our offense had in driving the ball in the first half? The 2 fgs we scored was where we started in Mizzou territory. Didn't want to risk a turnover. Cant blame him for that with the game tied and receiving the kick in the second.

Also, Ill add mizzou had 2 or 3 timeouts as well. So, with a quick 3 and out they get the ball back.

If Missouri had the ball the would have tried to score. The greats play to win.

Moot point, they could've still used those when we were running the clock out but they didn't.

I feel that we should have tried to run some offense there. These endless goddamn screens make me want to punch an asian infant repeatedly. The defense had been holding pretty well...why not run the two-minute offense and at least try and get 3? Even if something crazy happens, you get the ball first in the second half.

But, I can see the other side too, just don't agree with it.

Ehh true. I guess what I was meaning was, say, 2 incomplete passes and one run. There is over a minute left on the clock for them to do something. At that point in the game, They had one long drive and scored. We had none that half.

Ah okay, that makes more sense. But I would still like to see some offense ran there. One draw and then run clock? Anyway, that's not what killed us but I thought it was silly.

If you not winning , then you should Try to score every chance you get to points on the board. You can't tell me going into the half ahead by 3 or more would not have been a good thing . Of course you take a chance, but the name of the game is scoring more points. You can't score without trying. I feel that sends a negative signal to the players.

Plenty of people will criticize CBJ over that choice. But if we pass and have a quick 3 and out and zou scores or we have a turnover and they score, People would criticize the choice to go for it there.

Hindsight is always 20/20.
