In his post-game conference, Bert said it's almost certainly a done deal that this is the end of Marshall's run as a hog.

He said something along the lines of

"I'm not going into details but Korlis's chances of returning to the team are slim."

Agreed. A.J. Turner 2.0.

Marshall is the biggest bust in terms of hype and expectations versus reality this season that I can remember. Was supposed to be the most talented of our stable of backs and ended up doing approximately jack shite outside of a KO return TD against NIU and couldn't quit fricking up. When your coach goes on a speel about how you're on your last chance and it'd be the saddest story of his coaching career if you frick it up and then you go frick it up, then get lost.

Why?

Bert is saying the rules apply to everyone, there isn't rules only for some, it doesn't matter how fast you are on the field, the off the field rules still apply.

Its pretty straight forward and simple, if you do not want to do what you are expected to do off the field, you should expect no sympathy when you are not on the field.

This approach will be a nice change of pace compared to our previous two HCs in football and basketball before Bert and Mike.

I agree. And I believe it makes the team stronger & more cohesive. Also, it establishes who is in charge & that he doesn't make idle threats. The team respects that, and him.
