Agreed. The GT scenario is nowhere near as cut and dry as the UT scenario, which is why there's no thread about it. We all know we're pulling for UT tomorrow, perhaps unanimously. They are, however, still rivals. These games all fall somewhere on a scale and at some point the scale tips far enough for us to actually pull for a rival. This thread is evidence that the scale may have tipped in favor of Tech. Based on my count, 8 votes for Tech, 3 for FSU, and 2 not taking a position. FSU is turning the majority of GSB into Tech fans for a day, assuming not much changes between now and then.

I think you gotta root for Tech. They spoil FSU's hopes and we might go to the CFP.

i dont know after pulling for UT this weekend i might be worn out. all of this pulling for rivals is kinda hard.

All bullshitting aside, I think we get more goodwill recently beating a conference winner in Tech who just knocked off an undefeated FSU.
