Oh man please let that be true!

The funny thing is, next time he beats Georgia, whether it's in two weeks or two years, a considerable portion of the DawgRant population will vow and aver that Johnson has turned the tide against Richt and Tech is now a superior program. The Richt haters are indistinguishable from Tech fans in that regard, they seize on every opportunity to criticize Georgia and paint a bleak picture of the future.

Well, that is the mindset of half the nega-posters on here anyway, isn't it?

Losing to Gay Tech isn't typical of Richt. Losing to an average team ( like Tech) in spectacular fashion is typical of Richt. So losing to Tech really shouldn't surprise anyone.

Negotiations for an extension for Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson’s contract are underway, according to a representative for Johnson.
“We’re in discussions,” Atlanta-based attorney Jack Reale told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Friday. “We’ll see where they go.”
A major donor to the Tech athletics program and a friend of Johnson’s spoke with considerably more assurance about the likelihood of an extension.
“I’m confident that both sides are going to work together to get a deal in place that will keep Paul here well into the future, and he certainly deserves that,” Gregg Garrett said.
