Are there any rebel fans who would have rather lost the Bama game and won against LSU and Auburn? Or is this is a ridiculous question..

We'd be in the exact same situation we are in now. So no.

ETA: Bama would have already clinched the west if not for us, actually. So HELL no.

We'd be 9-1, in the same situation. I'd say yeah.

You wouldn't rather be 9-1 and in the same position you are now?

Nope. And actually, Bama would have already won the West had they not lost to us. We wouldn't be in any better position than we are now. We may be ranked 6th or 7th but we wouldn't be top 5.

Completely hypothetical. Would you give up the Bama win to beat MSU?

Why would we give up a win to secure a win which we haven't yet played and will be a favorite for?

It's a fricking hypothetical question you dumbass. The question implies that if you are content with your Bama win, you are content with losing the state game.

Yes. That could actually put us ahead of you since we played a better schedule and would have identical records. Plus beating LSU and AU>beating Bama.

Assuming we go 1-1 in those games irl and in this hypothetical? No I would rather beat Bama.

No it doesn't. The Bama win is bigger for the program than a win against State in the national opinion. I wouldn't be content with losing to state but this year I'd rather it be them than Bama.
