Would seem to be unfair for UF if they lose to EKU and FSU, end up at 5-6, and not bowl eligible but for their Idaho game cancellation

Probably. But EKU won't beat Florida.

I think that's what people said about Georgia Southern this time last year.

And EKU is pretty decent, 9-2

OK I'll bite, UF can ask for an exemption to the 6 win rule because of game being canceled.
The Idaho game will not be played unless they play in a bowl game.

It would be fair if Florida were to lose out on a bowl game because of the Idaho cancellation. Nobody forced UF and Idaho to cancel that game. They mutually agreed to it. Idaho got paid.

There was an option to reschedule on a shared bye week, but neither party wanted to lose their bye week.

No. Game is cancelled. Never will be replayed.

We won't lose to EKU. We'll just run and run and run and run.

Why, so we can go to some shitty bowl and lose to a B1G or Sun Belt team?

I see where you're going with that, but I think Florida is better this year and GSU was better that year than EKU this year.

they could ask, but it won't be granted. they granted it for UCLA a couple years ago because they had a winning record and 6 wins prior to their conference championship game

was not aware of this. seems like unless Florida would have had to pay Idaho again, it would be rather financially irresponsible for Florida not to want to gain the revenue of another home football game

I am utterly amazed at how some UF fans still believe in Muschamp. We have all seen his teams struggle against cupcakes. Why would this game be any different? Muschamp coached teams have a very small room for error. We cant get out of our own way to block for God sake. I was not surprised when we lost to GaSouthern. I predicted it. I won't be surprised this Saturday. Any time you have a dysfunctional offense, you can be beat.

Did fans get refunds on tickets or did the school use the "subject to change" clause to not

I would guess the Gators would like for the season to end as soon as possible, find a new coach, and move on.

First of all: GO frick YOURSELF.

Secondly, no. They want to get out of this season as fast as fricking possible.

Thirdly: DIE IN A FIRE.
