What is serious is you have no idea what you are talking about. You first claimed that if the team could shoot 40% they would be undefeated, one problem , they were already shooting over 40%. Along with 288 other teams. Then you started crawfishing like a bitch and claiming you never meant 40% and cherry picked a few games and made some half assed claim about shooting percentage again. Now instead of being capable of any type of intelligent dialog you have resorted to your usual lol technique. No one takes you serious, now go flip my burger.

This looks like Ray's worst team yet. We may be better off firing him now and trying to get a head start on a replacement.

This is embarrassing.

We're pretty bad.

Feelers with eye-opening $$ attached need to be out. Don't necessarily have to make a move right now, but need to be assessing options...

Strick may not like it, but he's going to have to invest heavily to fix this quickly -- otherwise we're looking at an extended stay in irrelevance.

General statement. If any of you still think Stans caused this, go fricking kill yourself. I'll fight you IRL at the Orange Bowl.

I said that if we would have shot over 40% in the games we lost we would still be undefeated. I then preceded to list all 5 Losses at the time and our shooting percentage was in the 30's in every game.

If you can't comprehend that, and think it is "cherry picking" then you are stupid as frick.

Also, you said the problem is defense and rebounding, which is just fricking wrong.

You are the one that doesn't have any idea what you're talking about, bitch.

Come on dude everyone here can read what you posted. You were wrong no big deal. And yes rebounding and defense are a huge problem for this squad. These two things come down to coaching plain and simple. Players rarely have vast improvement in FG% over their career much less during the season, defensive intensity and rebounding can be improved simply by design.

Every game means, every fricking game. I listed the 5 games we lost and posted the %'s that were less than 40. It's not a fricking season average, it's each individual game. I don't understand how you can't comprehend this.

Rebounds:
State - Opponent
35.46 - 29.31 Per Game over 13 games

***Rebounding over 6 more boards per game than our opponent.

Defense:
Points Allowed:
57.8 per game

***That's good for the 25th best defensive shooting percentage allowed in the nation.

So, in short, you are wrong. The links are in the OP. Our problem is on offense, not defense, so kindly -

To be fair, I'll be really surprised if we don't get destroyed on the boards in league play. Shooting percentage is about to drop too, which is terrifying to even think about.

That may be possible, but doesn't change the fact that rebounding has not been our problem to this point.

We are barely outrebounding sunbelt teams and you don't see a problem? We are getting gashed by the likes of Mcneese State and you don't see a problem? Really

You should just stop, you made a mistake, no big deal, the doubling down on dumbassery is just funny though.

Wow, taking a post made after you were proved to be a lying dumbass and trying to tie it back to the original.

You do realize we have lost games and shot over 40% right.

WRONG.

We have lost 1 game when shooting over 40%, which was after the comment I made about being undefeated.

Let's be factual. We have lost one game where we shot over 40%. That was that abortion of a game against McNeese State where we lit it up for 41.9%. For the other 5 losses, we were in the 30's.

My only hope is that we are more competitive with Sword, Ready, and Ware playing at full strength. It is a small hope, but still a hope.

No you fricking idiot. You are the one that made the mistake. Here I will quote it for you if you can't remember or won't go back.

quote:

shooting while a problem is not the largest one. Rebounding and defense are a much bigger problem for this squad than field goal percentage.

Things in question(Rebounding, Defense, and Shooting Percentage):

cave canem stance:
quote:

shooting while a problem is not the largest one. Rebounding and defense are a much bigger problem

DynastyDawg Stance:
quote:

Our problem is on offense, not defense and rebounding

Rebounding: Out-rebounding opponent by 6
Defense:25th best defensive shooting percentage in the nation
Offensive Shooting Percentage:.436, 184th in the nation.

Now, let's compare and let everyone see what the real problem is and who is right and who is wrong.

sunbelt teams

If you want to use some bullshite argument like this again, remember that the shooting percentage we have is against those same sunbelt teams.

You have yet to bring any sort of numbers, or statistical evidence to support the bullshite you are spewing all over this thread. The couple of times you try you are completely wrong, despite the fact that each games statistics and the seasons statistics are linked in the fricking OP.
