I just want to point out that we have scored less points this half (15) than our football team averaged per half.

Upstate beat GT and almost beat memphis and another good team.

If we can somehow pull of this comeback I will be pleased after being down at the half.

Memphis sucks this year. Not sure about Ga Tech so I can't speak on that win.

We will know in a few minutes because I can assure you we are probably the worst team they will see.

I'll take the msu basketball job for only 250k a year and promise to deliver at least equal results as Ray.

That's 750k to put into football. Win win for all of us

Man this team is so frustrating. We look pretty good when our shots are falling but we can't have 5 game fricking streaks where we shoot under 30%.

If we could shot 40% every game were likely still undefeated.

frick me this shite is frustrating.

Yeah we look better but still not good. This is one of the worst RPI teams in the country and we still can't put up points. I will say that we were rebounding very well early, haven't been following the second half. Damn the turnovers though.

Id say 74-47 or whatever it ended up being was putting up a pretty good amount of points.

It was 70, we shot the eyes out of it the last 7 minutes.

The problem is we won't shoot much better than tonight and we still only put up 70 on the RPI #341 (believe that's where they were).

That's my point, I'm glad we won and we looked better but it still worries me that was probably the best we will get. I don't see this team shooting above 50% from three, like last night, very often.

Did a good job of closing things out, they put it writhin like 10-12 with less than 8 to go, made some key shots to put it away and that's encouraging. The other thing that's encouraging is the rest of the SEC also being horrible.

I wish I could find Reddy's shooting percentage. Maybe it's perception but it seems like he shoots it too well to not take more looks.

There are currently 288 teams in ncaa basketball shooting over 40%, let that sink in for a min. 288 teams. State is sitting at 176th place with 43.5%

It is not a lot to ask for.

That 40% shooting is pretty bad.

Ok, so let me break this down for you.

40% May not be a great number, but during that 5 game losing streak, we shot 36, 38, 34, 32, 38 percentages. With our defenses, you shoot 40% or greater in those games and you most likelyl win. None of them were blowouts. So 3-9% points could have swung the outcomes significantly.

Now. Tell me again what your point is?

The point is the team is shooting over 40% already, shooting while a problem is not the largest one. Rebounding and defense are a much bigger problem for this squad than field goal percentage.
