The sec is so crappy I don't even know who we would hire.

Maybe just get somebody who is a sleazy cheater. I will have the same interest if we get the death penalty.

We are going to have to shell out a shite load of money to get someone good. I hope Stricklin can pull that off.

We'll be able to drop $2-3mil on our next basketball coach without batting an eye IMO...

I wouldn't bet on Strick being able to make the next hire on his own...

Somethig tells me, we'll be batting an eye if state spends that kind of money on a coach.

Gotta park the extra $$ somewhere...

Our basketball fanbase is sick of losing at this point. That's one reason we'd began to recruit so much better.

I really don't think we have a choice at this point... Unless we're going to concede the program for a decade. Need to invest in a sure thing...

Don't think there is a sure thing out there we could hire unless you can get Stan's back. Otherwise, Arkansas State's coach seems like a good enough place to start.

Arkansas State was ranked 333 out of 351 teams. Fire him now, literally any GA in the building has to be able to field a better team.

So you saw that the majority of the problem is on the players? Missing wide open shots and missing layups is inexcusable. Ray can't make the shots for them.

The telling stats to me last night were how much the bench outplayed the starters. Sword, Ware, Thomas looked like they could give two shits, yet the younger guys were the ones playing hard.

Needless to say there were probably less than 400 people there. I don't give a shite if it's Christmas break or not, there were more people there for the games that it was snowing during in the past.

At the end of the day, it's Ray's team and his responsibility. He is to be held accountable because you can't fire the players, but let's not act like he's some terrible coach. His upperclassmen are not taking the responsibility to be leaders on this team, and that's the most troubling sign.

Stansbury was fired in part for losing control of his players.
