The number of special ed players that we have had would shock some people. Not people that were fellow students. Most of them know, but it would shock a lot of alums.

Hansborogh and Powers are the only players I can think of that would have ever been considered smart.

We've had some players that are intelligent in the past. They don't need to be scholars or anything..but man...I think we have some pretty dumb guys on this team.

I guess I would just like Ray to try and do things outside the box a bit. Go after some recruits outside of the SE region.

What, you don't think Roquez is smarter than Benock?

We have athletes that we need. We just need that Benock, Powers, or Hansborogh to go with them.

You never see a team full of Benocks but you see them on pretty much every team. We need one. I almost want to think that Zupardo could be that person for us but he's not doing any good on the bench.

fricking Roquez takes a beating in every single game. I don't know what it is about him but god damn it seems like the opposing teams go after his head every game.

Just pick someone else for one game.

We played a half of basketball with a 1.6:1 turnover to point ratio. That we have some dumb players is a certainty at this point.

I don't remember who it was or which game, but the player was on the near side, and he threw a 2-hand overhead cross-court pass over no one, over the scorer's table, and into the 3rd row. The refs called a TV time out, and as he was running off, he was tapping his chest to indicate that it was on him.

Well, no shite. The ball landed 40 feet from any player on the court. We really didn't think that was part of a play that Ray had drawn up.

I am thinking Daniels in the first half of the Arky game, but we do so much bad shite that it is hard to keep it all straight.

Reminds me of Highschool baseball. We had a RHP step off and pick to third. Third baseman wasn't even on the damn bag, dude threw it about 8 feet in the air straight into the bleachers. I thought coach was literally going to kill him because standing rule number one had been don't pick to third, ever, since like 3rd grade.

This is why I teach my players not to attempt cross court passes. That gets them yelled at.

I hope not. The third baseman doesn't hold the runner. Sounds like it was on him for not paying attention.

Standing rule not to pick to 3rd? Says who? You can make a killing in high school doing it. I played with TDs brother and he picked off at least 10 during his HS career with his borderline illegal 3/4 move.

I believe that move started in the New York Life days.

Your answer to our problems is to get a Riley Benock type player? What?

Why did you pick out Benock?

You know exactly what I meant so what was the point of your stupid question?

The point you are trying to make is an ignorant one at best and a racist one at worst.

Not really ignorant. Racist... possibly.

His point is we need someone that comes on the court to give us 10-12 points a night to get teams out of zones.
