You don't get it, but you've made it clear here that there are a lot of things you simply don't get. Maybe you should go back to chasing mythical sea serpents.

You're the one who doesn't get it.

What situation would UGA be in right now had the ref made the correct call in the South Carolina game?

You skeptics have to see it with your own eyes before you will believe that sea serpents aren't mythical but when my brother and I as well as several other people have a definitive sighting of a sea serpent with our own eyes then we can't express the fact that sea serpents are not mythical without you skeptics telling us that you KNOW we didn't see what we KNOW we actually saw.

GO frick YOURSELF!!!

Well, considering that hold was in the 1st quarter, we missed 2 field goals, a 1st and 4 opportunity, and USCe ended the ball game taking knees, I'm pretty sure we still would have lost the game.

I don't like to blame refs when we have so many more plays to win. We should have won regardless. BUT, do not underestimate the importance of that bad call. The ref had seen holding earlier, and ASSUMED there was holding on that play based on who they fell. A ref should never assume a penalty, he should see it.

I have no doubt that the TD that was called back was a game changer. Points, confidence, momentum, killing the crowd, etc.

If a 1st quarter penalty changes the entire game, then that's a team/coaching/fan problem, not an officiating problem. Part of the game is picking yourself up when you get knocked down and not letting a call in the 1st quarter keep you down the entire game. I realize penalties can swing momentum, yes, however you can't tell me Morgan missed his 2 FGs because of it, Bobo called a screen on 1st and 4 because of it, and Mason grounded the ball because of it. Those were situational failures and that is on us as a team, not on a single bad call in the 1st.

Taking all of that into account we still would have the won the game had the ref made the correct call.

ETA: Part of me wishes they had just taken that final drive in for a TD and won by 10 so we wouldn't have to deal with your bitching. But you'd probably find something else to bitch about though, like no sea serpent sightings over the weekend.

I wish the ref had made the correct call then I wouldn't have to deal with little bitches like you blaming the team and the coaches for the loss and I wouldn't have to hope that Missou loses one of its two remaining SEC games in order for UGA to get in the SECCG.

Latest from Disney...

UGA and Ark/UT take care of business.

We got six spots to make up.

USC beats UCLA-1 spot
Ole Miss beats Miss St-2 spots
Texas beats TCU OR KSU beats Baylor or Wisconsin beats OSU or USC beats Oregon-3 spots
Bees beat FSU-4 spots
Dogs beat AL-5 spots

If the Dawgs get to 5th and win the SEC the committee will be hard pressed not to put them in after beating 3 ranked teams in a row plus the SECw and ACC champs!

Oregon
Ohio State
Baylor or TCU
Dawgs

A lot of football to be played but a number of realistic scenarios.

We are in if we win out. I am much less concerned about what happens above us as opposed to happens vs GT and in ATL.

100% concerned about GT. ATL concern will have to wait until Ark or UT give me reason.

I don't think we are necessarily in IF Miss St remains 1 loss, Bama were to slip against AU, and/or if a majority of Baylor/TCU/FSU/OSU/Oregon win out. We still need some others to go down (including Mizz of course).

The teams ahead of us will lose. I am not at all concerned about that. I know they aren't supposed to, but they will. There are probably 20 games or so to be played above us. I bet 5 of them are losses. I said this weeks ago and not many others were on board. 3 weeks ago, before we laid a giant egg in JAX, everybody was worried about ND, Mich State, Oregon, FSU, K State, and TCU, saying they're not going to lose again and we won't pass them. In 3 weeks, those teams combined for 4 more losses. Had we worried about ourselves and taken care of our own business, we'd be sitting at 5 right now in the polls.

The same holds true now. There is a much higher probability of us losing vs Tech or SECW than there is of there not being enough losses ahead of us. If we take care of us, the rest will take care of itself.
