It's always interesting to see how Missouri fares in various sets and which players are earning PT.

Thanks for that. I know White is back, but really surprised that Brown and Moore were so drastically cut. Wasn't it just the weekend before that Brown looked decent as well? Reward the young guy for a good game with more than just 3 snaps.

I agree. I really wish we were rotating the youngsters in more, especially on offense.

Pinkel must think chemistry between MM and the starting three is of critical importance.

Same ol', same ol'.

Brown dropped a relatively easy pass early on, IIRC. Didn't see the field much after that and wasnt targeted.

If we pulled every WR that dropped a pass we'd be playing a quadruple "I".

So is Marcus Loud the heir apparent on the right side? barring a JUCO transfer that is.

Wait for it wait for it. NOW 2015 when we have no passing attack we will hear" what we do works we just have to do it better"

Going to the SECCG means extra practices. Going to a bowl means extra practices. Young players especially benefit.

Players earn PT in practice by showing they can execute what the coaches want.

How do you get players to develop, perform and have fewer mistakes? Practice and repetition before they ever hit the field in a game situation.

I would love to see young players stepping up more. Witter looked very different in his decisions in the A&M game than he has before, and it wasn't just the openings created. His decisions were better and he finally started leaning forward to get leverage and extra yards after contact. Before that, he was more likely to try one last juke, lose his momentum, get stood up and stopped cold.

Yup, Brown earned himself a seat on the bench in this one. He did look good the week prior though.

Passing attack will be fine as long as Mauk remains competent.

I can see getting White back on the field for the majority, but Brown is one of the most talented true freshman we've had at WR. If you go back and look at his film he's one of the best at going up and getting the ball in a crowd in HS and he played against very solid competition then, kinda like what Mauk needs imo.
