KNOXVILLE — The Knoxville Police Department is releasing Tuesday afternoon the incident report into an alleged rape and sexaul assault over the weekend. University of Tennessee senior linebacker A.J. Johnson and sophomore cornerback Michael Williams were suspended Monday from all team activities, hours after head football coach Butch Jones said that UT football players were part of an investigation into the alleged incidents. Jones did not identify the players during his regular Monday news conference, and no charges have been filed against Johnson or Williams. Knox County prosecutors will decide if charges are warranted in the reported rape and sexual assault, a police spokesman said Monday. More details as they develop online and in Wednesday’s News Sentinel.

Watch it be just UGA's luck for a suspension to help derail our season, even if it's happening to another team.

I guess that's an update

For good or bad, I'm glad this is coming out today. Let's put this behind us, and focus on our game against Missouri.

We should know if charges will be filed this afternoon. At least that's the way the article made it out to be. Smartass

Probably not know this afternoon. I'd be surprised.
Definitely didn't make it out to be that way.
If they know they're not bringing charges this fast, I'd guess they have an "uncooperative witness."

The big rumor right now is that Williams will be charged with forcible rape and AJ will be cleared. AJ didnt rape her but may or may not have done anything to stop it.
AJ may face punishment from Butch for simply not doing the right thing and putting himself in a shady situation. Williams is getting the boot and will be looking at prison time obviously if convicted.

KNOXVILLE — A University of Tennessee student told Knoxville police that football players A.J. Johnson and Michael Williams raped her Sunday morning. The 19-year-old woman said the attack took place about 1:45 a.m. at the Woodlands Apartment Complex in South Knox County. She said the attack lasted about 45 minutes. A second 19-year-old woman told police that Williams sexually assaulted her at the same location. The woman who said she was raped received medical treatment, according to the report released Tuesday. The woman who said she was sexually assaulted. did not require medical treatment, according to the report. No charges have been filed against either player. Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk said the woman who reported she was sexually assaulted has said she will not pursue charges. More details as they develop online and in Wednesday’s News Sentinel.

I keep hearing that what Williams did was very, very bad but AJ wasn't involved in whatever it was Williams did. However, AJ was there at some point. AJ if he is cleared and plays again won't play until bowl season.

From what I've heard, she's changed her story multiple times. Doesn't matter, Jesus Quintana says they're guilty, they must be guilty.
Even if they're innocent, they're guilty.

Police: Did you sexual assault that girl?
Johnson/Williams: No, we didn't.
(Pause)
Police: Good enough for us. Call a presser for tomorrow afternoon these guys are innocent.

Not with Knoxville Police. Ours are about as "friendly" to the team as Athens or College Station PD.

That has NEVER HAPPENED in the History of KPD or UTPD, NEVER. This is the same law enforcement agency that wanted to charge Peyton fricking Manning with Sexual harassment/Lude behavior when he allegedly mooned a woman from his dorm room window.
