FPI’s projected SEC winner:

Alabama (46 percent)
Georgia Bulldogs (39 percent)
Ole Miss Rebels (8 percent)
Mississippi State Bulldogs (4 percent)
Missouri (2 percent)

FPI projects Missouri has an 85 percent chance to lose either of those games. (Tenn & Ark)

This is the current FPI data...... LINK........

Not sure how accurate/meaningless FPI is, but I'll take it.

Seems about right. I dont see them winning both.

Now it's about who are we gonna face in the SECCG. Probably Bama, but who knows. Its been a crazy year

Seriously, I think UT will win by 10 or more.

Arkansas is too hard to figure. We all want to lean on the LSU game, but that was just one recent game. They lost so many SEC games, it's just hard to count on them.

It's not like they have been blown out though. Lost by 1 to Bama, besides the game against us they have been in them all

The FPI as a whole, which represents "how many points above or below average a team is".....shows Georgia at #3 in the country overall. Behind only Alabama and Oregon.

Does anyone have any insight regarding the criteria that goes into FPI? That metric has loved us all season long but I can't narrow down why that is.

Also, after reading the comments on that linked article - Missouri fans seems to be such angry little people. Their approach in those comments is similar to their approach on this board. They had a very good team last year, but I'm not sure where the sense of entitlement comes from this year. UGA and Mizz have probably equally bad losses, but who has Mizz beaten of consequence? At least we have a signature win or 2 to point to.

Any gurus have a guess at a Mizzou-Arky spread? I think Mizzou would have to be favored by about a FG there.

Anyway...I mentioned it on the SECr but I'm thinking about loading up at MiZzzou +155 so either way I'm happy this weekend. This just has dejavu of UT refusing to lose in 2007.

The last time I touted UGAs high FPI numbers was before the Florida game...so I've since decided to try and ignore it.

Per Bleacher Report, current rankings of team Missouri has played:

South Dakota St 80
Toledo 60
UCF 45
Indiana 88
So Car 44
UGA 9 (shutout loss)
Florida 37
Vandy 93
UK 66
T A&M 34

So other than the loss to UGA, no one currently in the top 30.
