So now that Pruitt has given everyone the formula for beating Gus's offense, will Auburn fire him next year after they presumably get 0 wins in SEC play again? Do they rehire Chizik once they realize that he was the only way they won in 2010?

yep. All those things.

I think that's likely at this point. I do miss Jim.

You really think Auburn would fire a coach two years after a Natty appearance?

I think that's pretty obviously what we have to do.

Again, the worst thing to ever happen to Tigerdroppings/SECRant was the addition of all DawgRant posters.

450 Total yards and 240 yards rushing. I hope more teams use that same formula

Yes, I think it is obvious we will fire Gus and hire Richt, because he knows how to take a team to the promised land.

Look guy, I just happen to think that Chizik was a much better fit as head coach for Auburn. I think you guys don't give him nearly enough credit for the 2010 NC.

On a serious note, Gus will have to adjust his offense more and more as he moves along. It's the nature of coaching. Opposing defenses figure you out.

Pruitt did such a good job of stopping Florida's offense, Muschamp gone.

frick it, it's lunch time so I'll humor you.
But if we go 0-9 in the SEC next year, then gus has just matched chiz. So what makes chiz the better option (since it'll be an equal record of what one's done without the other)?

With an averge Defense for support, Gus's playcalling changes a lot. All year the Offense has been under pressure to score as much as possible without consideration of setting up future plays. The last 4 games he has called plays to protect his Defense. Kicking on 4th Down at midfield and running 5 straight plays up the middle is something he has never done. The key to Gus Offense is fixing his Defense.
