That is bizarre. Never seemed like he got a fair shot there, especially after his injury. Weird situation

He'll get picked up somewhere. In fantasty Im tempted to pick up Crowell, might not get him though based on the waiver order.

Denver needs to be on the phone right now with injuries to Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball.

They have Isaiah Crowell, who was Fr SEC POY and would have been first 2 rounds type player, and Terrence West who has been a very pleasant surprise.

Ben Tate, who has been rough due to injuries, was not going to play significant snaps. Tate has a per game roster bonus however which would have cost Cleveland an additional 300-400k$ which would go to the 2015 cap number.

Additionally, if he were to rack up some yards, he would be given an additional performance bonus which again would impact 2015 cap

Not this year. He was in the roster after the first week of the season, so his salary is guaranteed. And i believe he was only on a one year deal.

Assuming he can pick up a contract around 2mil$, he won't lose significant money as his contract only had 1 more year on it and was only for around 2.5$mil

400k or so in roster bonuses that affect next year's cap weren't guaranteed.

Feel bad for Tate, always seems to be either injured or in a bad place.

He actually wasn't the surprise for the Cleveland Browns, Isaiah Crowell was. Terrance West was brought in to take over for Ben Tate when he was ready. They really liked him in the NFL Draft, which is why they took him kind of high out of a small college.

He was slated to, but injuries occurred and the coaches decided to ride the hot hand for most of the season. Which sucks, because fantasy football was tough with any of the 3 guys.
