Fanning and that running back that transferred.

Kamara was a twatwaffle.
Fanning cared more about his abs than football. Saban indirectly called him out at a speaking engagement, he was apart of the "felon 4" clique.

I honestly don't remember which RB that was

Obviously it was Barret Jones.
Really.
Is it really worth it to run former players down?
Posting this negative shite makes you seem like...an "energy vampire."

Saban mentions them at least once a press conference.

So? That's his new thing. He adopts one motivational speaker catchphrase a year -- if not more. Energy vampire is this years. He'll have new one next year.

Just because someone dyes her hair black does not make her a vampire.

Kenny Bell? I don't think of him as that kind of person, but then again I didn't know him personally. AJ always seemed like a douche IRL.

Doug fricking Nussmeier. He has vampire written on his forehead.

No on AJ. Seriously?
Hubbard, Kamara, Fanning, Calloway, Hayes, Eddie Williams over the last couple.
Hubbard and Kamara were the only ones that were on the team last season correct?
Maybe Brandon Hill?

What makes you say that? Just curious, never heard anything negative about him.

Part of it may be his actions after leaving UA, honestly.

I don't think thats what Saban was referencing. I think he is referencing guys constantly in the dog house.

He transferred and didn't break 3rd string tackle for 2 years. Just seems like he would have moved up if he gave the effort needed and was in the right praises with the coaches.

I have a HARD time believing all the crap people come up with about AJ when by all accounts he is the exact opposite. I mean Saban treated him like his favorite player ever. You could always see the coaches loving him.
I can understand immature players not liking that he was basically a coach in a uniform, but there is a reason Saban loved AJ so much. Had he been one of the "energy vampires", he wouldn't have treated him the way he did for 5 years.

AJ is not who Saban was talking about.
Saban made it very clear who he was talking about in the interview even though he didn't name names.
It was people who got in trouble a bunch and took energy away from the coaches who could be doing other things.
And I'm guessing it's not just a matter of 1, it's a matter of many. Even players like HaHa who had a short bout of trouble contributes.
Didn't see anything to suggest AJ. AJ just needs to keep his mouth shut more.
